Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995, in Berkeley California USA. She is known as an actor in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.
Asia Argento began her career as an actress as an actress in Rome. Her family also includes a number of film makers. She made her debut when she was only nine years aged in Sergio Citti's film Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she starred as the main character in the debut film of Cristina Comencini, Zoo, and was in the ensemble of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's young daughter, came out a year after. However, it came from Close Friends by Michele Placido that made Asia's acting career explode. The film received an enthusiastic reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma she appeared for the first time alongside her father, the renowned Italian film director Dario Argento his mother, one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an overweight girl on the lookout of her parents' killer. Asia's intense and concentrated style of performance was well utilized in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze. In 1993, she co-starred as Arianna the disabled child in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista. It was a complex and demanding role that she was awarded the David di Donatello. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her a David di Donatello award and an award called a Grolla d'oro. Asia began the profession of directing in 1994 and produced two shorts and one of which was De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document about her father. Then, in 1998 was the year that Asia created a feature-length film on Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), which was recognized with an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut film in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was both the main actress in the film as well as the writer of the screenplay. The film debuted in the month of May in Italy and the rest of the world. The film was awarded the Brooklyn's special prize at the Williamsburg film festival.
