Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her sisters, who were younger than her, took care of her, however she often faced bullying in school due to her large legs. In 2009, she was a guest on "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful At All Sizes". Graham was once more in the news after she appeared in Lane Bryant's controversial ad. It was eventually removed from several markets. The issue got so insufferable that she appeared to Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show" to debate it. Graham became a well-known as a plus-size model. Grande began acting and singing in her early years as a kid. She was cast in the year 2008 when she got a role for the Broadway production 13 shortly thereafter, and began playing small parts in TV shows. The year 2010 was when she received her biggest break when she was offered a role on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious. She appeared as Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. Sam & Cat was the spin-off of her sitcom, which was aired in 2013, after it had been put on hold.
