Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with an undergraduate degree in Theatre and Communication. When she moved to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in theater, acting and choreographing more than two dozen productions. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. While continuing to study Improvisation at The Groundlings and becoming a part of the company at Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television as well as in films. Her unique voice with her small stature made it possible for Kelly to develop an array of vibrant characters. Her work has included Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara however, she is more well-known as the bright and bubbly receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a TV Land Regular on the series from 2011 to 2015, starring as a paralegal in the daytime as well as the nightclub host. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the show on CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stressed suburban mom. She has lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she was in the role of the slow but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two kids, and has a peaceful home. She enjoys writing or sew as well as volunteer at school.
