Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began as a supporting actress in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt she played Willa McPherson in the role of a reporter. She also played the supporting role on the short-lived show The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a young Moira on the opening season of FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of many characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Virgin River on Netflix since the year 2019. Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when she and her mother relocated to California. They moved around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in acting, singing, and photography around the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue her acting career.
